Suspend Mode: (this is sometimes referred to as “sleep mode”)

The computer disconnects from any networks, tells everything to pause, and removes power from everything except RAM.  

So, you put your computer into a state where the memory of what was going on in every program is still present, but the computer is, essentially, off.  

However, because RAM still needs to be powered, there is a little power drain, even when your computer is suspended.  Of course, this is almost negligible.  

Suspend is quite useful and laptop users use it all the time.  

一、面板
1.就現在市面上常看到的分四種
1). S-IPS面板：最接近真實顏色、顏色較飽和、可視最角大(水平、垂直都是178度)。但是黑色色階表現沒有S-PVA好。對比不高。
2).S-PVA面板：顏色鮮豔、對黑色表現好、可視角大、亮度與對比較大，但是顏色真實度沒有S-IPS好。
3).P-MVA面板：顏色比TN飽和，黑色表現好，可視角大。

Eee PC 701 將先配備英語系的 OS，最快 8 月就有可能上市。雖然 Windows XP 列在選項裡面，但實際出貨時仍將搭載 Linux，另會提供 Windows XP 的驅動程式。SSD 到上市的時候選擇可能會比現在更多，從 1GB 到 32GB 都有可能。另外，3G 網路將是上市時的選項之一，但還無法確定會是內建的，還是以 Dongle 的形式出現。

華碩的筆電一向強調與眾不同的品味及設計，因此在去年皮革材質在市場上獲得相當的迴響後，今年華碩將眼光放到了「竹」、「木」等自然材質上。現場除了有兩台以竹皮包覆的「改良版（加了 Webcam）」的 W1之外，還有兩台設計特別的概念筆電，將筆電視同家俱的一部份，而不是突出在家俱之外的異物。

另外，華碩還在現場準備了許多實驗意味濃厚的「概念面板」，像是上圖的雕花面板，還有各種不同的木紋組合。在面板的底下還是有鎂鋁合金的金屬板支撐著，所以應該是不用擔心強度不足的問題。
